Team Assistant and Practice Admin

The Role: We are seeking a motivated and energetic candidate to support our team and directors. The role includes client reception, ensuring the office remains professional and presentation-ready, as well as assisting with internal practice management and ATO matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception and office coordination — welcoming clients, preparing meeting rooms, maintaining shared areas, supplies, and overall office presentation

  • Debtor collection and client disbursement support

  • Onboarding and offboarding team members — preparing and maintaining workspaces and system access

  • Client database maintenance and updates

  • Assisting with ATO lodgements and correspondence

  • General administrative support as required

Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • (Desirable) Previous experience in an accounting or professional services firm, ideally with Xero Practice Manager

  • Ability to meet Strong MyGovID identity strength requirements (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
